Why THIS Text Message ...Left Me In Tears

Good Morning, AI Friends..

I must confess, I find myself shedding tears more readily when GOOD things happen than when BAD things happen.

Allow me to explain the DRAMATIC subject line…

Last year, I was bitten by the AI bug. Whether it's due to my investigative reporter/journalism background, I became obsessed with learning about this field.

In fact, on most Friday and Saturday nights, you'll find me on my computer, fully immersed in learning about the latest tools. (Maybe that’s why I’m still single 😂 )

About 3 months ago, I started consulting companies on how to use AI tools to improve their marketing and reduce their workload.

Deep down, I knew that despite not being a tech guru, I could make a huge impact on a company and simplify almost everything.

But, imposter syndrome quickly kicked in – "WHO do I think I am?

After all, I can barely operate my printer!"

Yesterday, the Founder & CEO of a medical device company called me at 7 am with a pressing question.

You see, I spent at least 4 hours over the holidays building out his company's custom GPT and created it live with him virtually to ensure I got every detail right.

This CEO is absolutely brilliant and named one of Becker’s Hospital Review’s Emerging Leaders: 37 Healthcare Company leaders Under 40.

To say I was nervous to test my AI expertice with THIS CEO was an understatement.

In that phone call, he mentioned putting the custom GPT I built for him to the ultimate test, wanting assurance that I felt it was ready.

I confidently said, "YES."

Despite knowing I did everything I possibly could have, anxiety crept in throughout the day.

"Hmmm…I haven’t heard from him."

"Christine, how’s that PRINTER of yours working 😂"

"You can’t control the robots…maybe you missed something."

Then, I received this text message around 6 pm.

Yes, yesterday was a GOOD cry. I love AI and all of its capabilities and I enjoy helping companies and entrepreneurs learn how it can benefit their business and save TIME & MONEY!

But, to realize that something I've immersed myself in is becoming a successful AI consultancy, receiving praise from some of the smartest people I've known, is a tremendous gift.

Tomorrow, I'll be breaking down exactly how I helped this medical device company, and you will hear from the Founder about how this has truly transformed his company, all in a matter of 4 HOURS.

PS. This is also a great example of the saying: when you do what you LOVE, it will never feel like WORK.

Have A Blessed Day,

Christine
